My name is Yohei Takayama, and I have been living in Ogano Town for five years. I am originally from Miyagi Prefecture and previously worked for a medical device trading company in Tokyo. Currently, I am engaged in initiatives to promote migration to Ogano Town and am also working on developing gin made from locally sourced citrus fruits and herbs. Additionally, I serve as a staff member of the Ogano Town Specific Community Development Cooperative Association.
Ogano Town is a close-knit community where relationships between people are very strong, and newcomers are warmly welcomed. By participating in local festivals and events, I have had the chance to deepen my connections with the local residents. The people of Ogano Town have a profound love for their community and are passionately involved in revitalizing the area. Likewise, the business owners who are members of the cooperative are incredibly motivated and dedicated individuals striving to energize Ogano Town.
