Miyamoto Sou Group is a company that operates ryokan (traditional Japanese inns) and local experience facilities.

The current president and 12th-generation head, Mr. Kazuki Miyamoto, has a unique background as a former professional sumo wrestler under the ring name Tsurubayashi Teruki. Leveraging his experience, he offers warm hospitality with the distinctive touch of a sumo wrestler.

Miyamotoke

A historic over-200-year-old farmhouse-turned-ryokan.

The cuisine features local ingredients such as freshly harvested vegetables and fish, as well as the farmer’s estate-style chanko hot pot, (A type of stew eaten by sumo wrestlers) It’s a special recipe passed down by the head of the Miyamoto family.

The ryokan has four guest rooms with private baths and two standard rooms, accommodating only seven groups per day for an exclusive experience.
